LVN to BSN Program
The Department of Nursing at Holy Names University offers a program for LVNs that provides preparation for the RN license and the Bachelor of Science degree. LVNs seeking a BSN degree are eligible for the Public Health Certificate and will find the Holy Names University programs very attractive because class sizes are small and the clinical practice elements of the program can be completed close to the student’s home.
The program is seven semesters in length and is offered in a consecutive manner (Fall, Spring and Summer) so it can be completed in two and a half years. In addition, students are offered the opportunity to “test out of” the first two nursing courses. Any general education courses required in the program that were completed at a community or four year college/university and are equitable can be transferred to HNU. Students can apply for and be admitted each semester.
The deadline for the Spring 2013 semester is Friday, November 2nd. All application materials must be submitted by this date for your application to be considered.
