The Advising Center, located in Brennan 81, is your central resource for academic planning during your college career. Together with your advisor, you will map your path to completing graduation requirements for both general education and your major, and will create a plan that meets your academic and personal goals. Advisors can help you understand University academic policies and procedures, help guide your academic progress, and they are also great resources for talking about your goals and plans after college, learning more about your major, as well as exploring your interests and passions. Staff in the Advising Center also work closely with faculty and can connect you with professors in your department who can talk with you about your academic interests, internships, graduate study and careers in your field. You are assigned an academic advisor in your major, but all of the staff in the Advising Center are happy to help with general questions and can connect you to the right person for more information or support.
