Bachelor of Arts English with a focus in Comparative Literature This option is designed to provide more flexibility within the English major for students interested in Comparative Literature, whose theory and technique are included in English 40, Approaches to Literature. It allows English majors proficient in Spanish to broaden their study of literature by including courses in literature written in this language. (ENGL 175 may substitute for one of the three if the readings are done in the original language.)
