Research Interests
Within ethical theology my primary concerns are issues of pluralism, and multi-cultural methods of discourse. I have an interest in creating a model of engagement with communities which both honors the particularity of the other and yet speaks to our universality (Catholicism). This model, which I have entitled Solidaristic Engagement, grows from my study of the Anadialectical Method of Enrique Dussel and the Political Theology of Johann Baptist Metz. My ethical work is always grounded in my community activism. I attempt to ground my ethical insights from within an ongoing commitment to social justice and Christian praxis. |
