Nurses with a baccalaureate degree in nursing who are interested in obtaining a master's degree and becoming prepared as clinical faculty can do so by attending classes once a month (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Students must complete 36 units with 16 of those units devoted to core classes that all MSN students must complete and 20 units of education courses for those enrolled in the clinical faculty option. The program is two years in length with December and the summer off. Those who already have a master's degree but want to become clinical faculty can do so by completing the option courses and becoming certified. Instruction is provided by qualified faculty (most of whom have doctoral degrees) and in an environment that is supportive of adult learners and their busy lives. All of the programs have accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
