Nursing informatics is a specialty that integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to manage and communicate data and knowledge in nursing practice. A nurse specializing in informatics supports healthcare facilities to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of patient care. Nurses completing this program will learn how to:

Core foundational nursing courses consist of 16 hours plus speciality units, depending on ADN or BSN background.
Classes are held on a monthly, weekend-intensive schedule.
