New Initiative for College Access
Mission Statement
New Initiative for College Access was created with the belief that institutions of higher learning have a profound responsibility to low income and under served students in our community. At HNU we believe in creating access to resources and financial aid that make it possible for students to attend universities of their choice. We strive to provide students who are first in their family to go to college with access to resources that create a pathway to college success.
Guided by the belief that everyone can go to college, we want to work with you to make the seemingly impossible happen for today's under served students. Partnering to provide students with services, information and resources will help students reach their educational goals.
We seek to partner with you, community organizers and high school counselors, who serve these students. Find out how.
Resources Available
In an effort to provide students with the resources necessary not just for college admission but for college success, we have compiled information and scholarships for students.
There are particular resources and scholarships available for AB 540 and underrepresented students.
