Degree Completion Programs for Adults

Requirements for Admission

Holy Names University welcomes working adults to the Adult Degree Completion Programs. The program's flexible formats are specifically designed for students who are motivated to complete a university degree while continuing to meet employment and/or family obligations. For most programs, admitted students may begin during either the fall, spring, or summer terms.

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Twenty-four years of age by the beginning of the first term of enrollment.
  2. 30 or more transferable units. However, candidates with fewer than 30 units are encouraged to apply as a transfer student. Click here for more information.
  3. At least three years of work experience

Nursing

Candidates interested in our LVN to BSN or RN to BSN nursing programs should click here for requirements or contact us at AdultEd@hnu.edu for more information as there are specific requirements and procedures for these programs.

Application

The following documents are required to apply for admission to the Adult Degree Completion Programs: [ get details see more or less ]

  1. Completed Application for Admission (Click here to download an application Download a PDF )
  2. A Written Personal Statement (1 - 4 pages)
  3. One Letter of Recommendation from a past or current professor or supervisor
  4. Current Resume
  5. Official Transcripts of ALL college/university coursework completed previously

Articulation Agreements
