Hart - Head Coach Men's Soccer
Tim Hart was announced as the interim head coach in January, taking over from Paul Sapsford and Rob Risley as head coach of Men’s Soccer at Holy Names University. Previously, Hart was an assistant coach at HNU in the 2007-2008 season where the team recorded a 14-2-3 record. In addition to being an assistant coach at HNU, Hart also graduated from HNU and was the team captain of the men’s soccer team in 2005 and 2006. Hart transferred from the University of Rio Grande where he was a member of the national championship winning team of 2003.
Before beginning his studies in America Hart played at several clubs in the UK. At the age of 14 he played for Aston Villa under school boy contracts and at 15 moved to Derby County. At 16 Hart started as 3 year Apprentice at Shrewsbury town and completed it age 19. At that time, Hart played for Newport County and Evesham town before venturing over to America.
Hart is currently working on completing a master’s degree in education at Holy names and is looking forward to the challenge of coaching at a university that is renowned for its strong soccer program. |

Sapsford - Assistant Coach Men's Soccer
Paul Sapsford will assist Coach Hart in the recruiting goals for the new season. He was previously the head coach of men’s soccer at HNU and has a long coaching history in the United States. His valuable knowledge of the game and of the American soccer system will benefit coach Hart in the upcoming season. |

Kepcija - Assistant Coach Men's Soccer
Ivan Kepcija will assist Coach Hart in the recruiting efforts for the new year. Kepcija was a player on the HNU soccer team for 2 seasons and graduated from HNU. He currently is a coach at Walnut Creek Soccer club. |

Ricardo
Marquez - Assistant Coach Men's Soccer
Ricardo Marquez will be assisting Coach Hart with spring training in 2008. He was a member of the coaching team as an assistant with Coach Hart and Coach Kapcija in the fall of 2007. Marquez played at HNU for 3 years, graduated with Coach Hart and Coach Kepcija in 2007, and currently works in Alumni Relations. |
