| March 18 , 2008 Hawks Take 8th Place at CLU Kingsmen Invitational Lompoc, CA - For the first time in the 2007-2008 season, the Hawks fielded a team of Freshman and Sophmores for the CLU Kingsmen Invitational. With a three round total of 965 the Hawks finished 8th place out of 14 teams. Freshman Tenzan Hashimoto finished in 9th place with rounds of 81, 77 and 74. Sophmore Nikhil Dhawan finished in 22nd place with rounds of 82, 82 and 75. |
| March 11 , 2008 10th Place Finish for Hawks at Division II NDNU Invitational Livermore, CA - Playing in its first Division II Tournament of the year, the Hawks carded a three round total of 921. Many of the top 25 Division II teams were competing including #1 ranked Sonoma State, #3 ranked CSU Stanislaus and eventual winner Valdosta St. ranked #7. Nikhil Dhawan finished in 19th place with rounds of 73, 71 and 81. Tenzan Hashimoto finished in 28th place with rounds of 72, 78 and 77. |
| March 4 , 2008 Hawks Finish 11th at Pt Loma Smee Builders Inviational Jamul, CA - It was a tough week for the Hawks golfers at Steele Canyon Golf Course in Jamul CA. With a three round total of 944 the Hawks finished in 11th place out of 16 teams. Freshman Tenzan Hashimoto had the low total for the Hawks with rounds of 75, 74 and 77 finishing 12th place for the tournament. |
| February 28, 2008 Another 2nd Place Finish for Hawks at Whitney Oaks San Marcos, CA - For the fourth time this year, the Hawks finished in 2nd place behind CSU East Bay. Shooting 312 as a team, the Hawks had three players finish in the top 7. Nikhil Dhawan led the Hawks with a 4th place finish shooting 74. Paul Drucke and Takashi Shimabukuro both shot 78 to finish in a tie for 7th place. |
| February 12, 2008 Hawks Finish 9th in 18 Team CSU San Marcos Invitational San Marcos, CA - Finishing with a 3 round total of 933 the Hawks finished 9th out of 18 in a stacked field that included a division I and II teams including eventual winner Fresno State. Hawk golfer Nikhil Dhawan finished in a tie for 14th place with total of 10 over for the tournament. The Hawks tee it up on February 28th at Whitney Oaks for the William Jessup Cal Pac Tournament. |
| November 1, 2007 Halvarsson Takes Medalist Honors in Two Straight Events San Leandro, CA - Erik Halvarsson has now taken medalist honors in two consecutive Cal Pac Tournaments. Shooting a 3 under par 68, Halvarsson took medalist honors of CSU East Bay's Scott Steelman who shot 1 under par. As a team, the Hawks shot 9 over par 293 to finish 4 strokes behind CST East Bay. |
| October 18, 2007 Erik Halvarsson Takes Medalist Honors, Hawks Finish 2nd at Cal Pac Event Rohnert Park, CA - The Hawks Men's golfers finished 2nd behind CSU East Bay for the second straight time in conference play. With a total of 310, the Hawks finished 16 strokes behind CSU East Bay. Erik Halvarsson shot an even par 72 to take medalist honors with CSU East Bay golf Les Teuteberg. |
| October 16, 2007 Hawks Place 6th Concoridia Invitational Vallejo, CA - HNU finished in 6th place at the Concordia Invitational held at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach, CA. After Day 1, the Hawks were in 4th place, but struggled in the final round to card a 3 day total of 896. Three of the Hawks finished individually in the top 20. Takashi Shimabukuro posted rounds of 72, 69 and 78 to finish in 14th place. Erik Halvarsson and Tenzan Hashimoto both finished in 20th place at 8 over par for the tournament. |
| October 11, 2007 HNU Takes 2nd at Cal Pac Opener Vallejo, CA - Holy Names University Men's Golf started its season on Thursday taking second place at the first Cal Pac Conference event for the 2007 - 2008 season. HNU finished 19 strokes behind CSU East bay with a total of 321. HNU freshman Tenzan Hashomoto had the teams low round of 3 over par 75. |
