Use of University road – Thursday, April 5, 2012 PLEASE READ

Campus Community,

As you may be aware, the University is replacing its boiler system with a new, more efficient system.  Part of that process is the removal of the old boiler.  We have scheduled the removal of the boiler between 8am and 10am tomorrow, Thursday, April 5.  The portion of the road between Founders Hall and the Boiler Plant will be blocked off to accommodate the removal of a very large boiler and placing the boiler on its transport truck.

This portion of the campus road may be closed intermittently between 8am and 10am.  We will have Campus Safety staff stationed by Tobin Gym to help direct traffic.  There will be times where our one-way road will necessarily become two-way.  PLEASE USE CAUTION when using the campus roadway tomorrow between 8am and 10am due to a change in traffic patterns.

Thank you for your cooperation during the process.
