Holy Names University invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the Department of Biological Science for Spring Semester 2018, beginning January 9, 2018. Candidates will be expected to teach BIOL 15, Human Biology, a survey of the basic concepts and ideas of biological science, including topics in human physiology. It fulfills the general education requirement of the University. The lecture meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm-7:15pm. The compensation is $3690.
Candidates must possess a M.S. or have completed extensive doctoral training. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctorate and experience teaching Introductory Biology at the college level. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage a diverse community of learners, effectively implement innovative inquiry-based pedagogy, and use technology to support student learning.
