Raskob Learning Institute and Day School, a division of, and located at Holy Names University, is seeking to fill the position of Special Education Teacher.
Provides instruction to students with learning disabilities in a private, non-public school classroom. Develops curriculum, and develops quality differentiated instruction consistent with the mission and philosophy of both Raskob and Holy Names University.
California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential, Level I or Level II; California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential Preliminary or Clear Credential. Intern eligible or Learning Specialist certification and completed graduate work considered. Masters’ Degree in Special Education or related field desirable.
Previous experience, preferably lead teaching in a classroom setting, with students with learning differences. Knowledge and experience in using best practice, research-based instruction, and remedial strategies for students with learning disabilities.
