Join us at Holy Names University in the beautiful Oakland Hills for a preview of the San Francisco Opera’s summer production of Don Giovanni!
Dr. Kip Cranna of SF Opera will open the program by sharing his expert insights on Mozart’s masterpiece. Next, Dr. Curt Pajer and other guests from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music will perform and comment on musical excerpts from Don Giovanni. The illustrated lecture and musical performance will be followed by an opportunity for you to interact with our distinguished speakers/performers during a Q&A session (moderated by Dr. Cranna and Dr. Patrick Lloyd Hatcher) as well as during a catered reception. This is the last program of the APPSI Speaker Series for the 2016-17 academic year—so don’t miss out!
