New Student Forms and Information

First Year Students

Every first year student at HNU participates in the Connection Project First Year Experience Program and joins a Learning Community. Therefore, all new first year students should complete the Learning Community form, students applying for on campus housing will do so as part of their housing application. Get everything ready before class in the Fall. What do we mean by everything?
Attend Hawk Day to:
  • Meet with an academic advisor
  • Create your class schedule
  • Register for fall semester classes
  • Take a tour of campus
  • Attend a campus resource fair
  • Meet with financial aid
  • Finalize your student account
  • Get your student ID card
  • Access your student portal
