On May 19, 2008, Co-Chairs Steve Callaway and Matt Heafey and Honorary Chair Jim Falaschi hosted the Holy Names University Annual Red Rose Invitational Golf Tournament at the Sequoyah Country Club raising over $90,000 for student scholarships.

Anthony Holdsworth Dedication
On December 2, 2007, Oakland artist Anthony Holdsworth was honored for his artistic contributions to Oakland and his painting Market on 9th Street-July was dedicated as a permanent feature of Holy Names University’s Valley Center for the Performing Arts.

President’s Club Dinner
This celebration of donors was held at the Valley Center for the Performing Arts on September 27, 2007. Retiring faculty members and former classmates Sister Maureen Hester ’64 and Dr. Patricia McMahon ’64 were honored at this event co-chaired by Trustee Ann Reynolds and Regent Eileen Weston ’62.

World renowned performer Michael Feinstein entertained the Holy Names community with a stellar performance October 14, 2006. Jane Logan, Concert Master, and Margaret Heafey and Rosaleen Kelly ’55 Event Co-Chairs helped raise over $130,000 towards student scholarships.
