Mac Tip of the Week: Rearranging Your Dock!

There is lots that you can do to customize your dock so that it behaves just that way you want! Besides controlling the application icons that  appear on your dock, you can also control the order in which they appear.

To reorder the icons on your dock, follow these quick and easy steps:1) Locate the application’s  icon in the dock and put the cursor over it for example, the Microsoft Word Icon icon. Microsoft Word Icon2) Click on the icon and while holding down on the mouse or track pad, drag the icon to where you would like it to appear in the dock. The other icons will make room for the icon as you drag it along the dock.3) Be sure that when you move the icons, you keep them to the left of the dock Size Adjuster. The Dock Size AdjusterThe area to the right of this divider is for folder and document icons (shortcuts), minimized windows, and the trash .
