Mon – Thurs: 12pm – 6pm
Fri: 12pm – 5pm
Sat: 10am – 3pm
Sun: Closed

More Overdrive Books–Because You’re the Best!
We’ve just added more books to our growing Overdrive eBook collection (at http://hnu.lib.overdrive.com , or click the “download” link from our main webpage). These books can be “checked out” and downloaded to iPads, Nooks, Kindles, iPhones, and other devices. The latest additions include a nice pile of the Best American series — essays, mysteries, short stories, science, sports writing, travel writing, and more — plus the mouthwatering annual, Best Food Writing 2011. Other new titles include Toni Morrison’s Home, and Cheryl Strayed’s Wild.
Belo Cipriani at Beastcrawl July 7
Beastcrawl is the East Bay’s answer to Litquake, and author and recent HNU graduate Belo Cipriani will be participating in this exciting new venue 8 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Spice Monkey Cafe, 1628 Webster Street, in Oakland.
