Occupy APA: A Citation Sit-In for HNU Students and Faculty — TONIGHT Wednesday October 24, 5-7 PM in the library classroom, and AGAIN Tuesday October 30, 5-7 PM. You’ve got the power to conquer APA and MLA citation style–librarians Nicole Branch and Daniel Ransom will show you how to tune up your citation skills and save time formatting assignments and articles! There are still several seats open in tonight’s session and in next Tuesday’s session. Email hnulibrary@hnu.edu to RSVP.

Library Classroom Upgrade — thanks to financial support from HNU’s Advancement office and the Education Department’s TAP grant, we’re upgrading those elderly computers in the library classroom with 20 shiny new machines! In support of this much-needed upgrade, the Library Classroom will be closed Monday, December 3 through January 1.

Puppies! — 2pm Friday October 26, the Connections Project is hosting a  Senses Game in the Library Courtyard where you can “challenge yourself to imagine what it might be like to navigate the world without sight. Bay Area Guide Dog Trainer and Puppy demonstrations to follow.”
