Library Hawk Squawk: E-theses Debut, plus Good Stuff to Read

HNU Theses Go High-Tech: HNU’s E-Thesis Initiative

In cooperation with the Education Department, the Library has launched HNU’s first-ever electronic thesis repository. It is linked on our e-thesis information page, http://hnu.libguides.com/etheses .

Our pilot project includes two theses, but we will expand to additional students and departments in the future, and we expect to broaden the type of content beyond theses. Big thanks to the Education Department for their participation, including authors (and now HNU alumnae) Ashley Foster and Rob Fong, and to librarian Nicole Branch for shepherding this project into life!

Good Stuff to Read

Spring semester bearing down on you? Refresh and recharge with a book or movie. We have  have two new collections on display:

Graphic Novels: a wonderful collection of graphic novels and nonfiction, plus companion DVDs when available,

V for Vendetta

V for Vendetta

curated by librarian Daniel Ransom. Many are fast reads.

Staff Picks: what the library team members recommend for good reading. An eclectic and fun blend, also organized by Daniel Ransom.
