Welcome to the PAL's (Peer Academic Liaison's) page of the Holy Names University Student Success Center. This page includes information pertaining to the current PAL's as well as information on how to join the Student Success Center Team.

Students of Holy Names University are tutored by peers who have academic experience and a strong knowledge base in the subject area for which they are tutoring. Students are required to register each term with the Student Success Center in order to have their tutoring needs met. Every effort is made to accommodate students' tutoring requests; however, there is no guarantee that a qualified tutor will be available immediately for every subject.

The Student Success Center actively recruits new peer tutors and accepts applications throughout the academic year. All students interested should review the the application process, complete their application, and then submit their application for review. Students can email an electronic copy of the Peer Academic Liaison Application to coleman@hnu.edu or obtain a copy of the application from the office of the Coordinator of Academic and Student Success located in Brennan 57B.
