and Membership Benefits
Membership in the International
Socety for Humor Studies is open to educators, health professionals,
managers, writers, performers, students, and others interested
in the advancement of humor studies and research. Members receive:

subscription to the quarterly journal, Humor: International
Journal of Humor Research

registration fees to annual ISHS International Humor Conferences

fees to ISHS-sponsored workshops and seminars

on books, including books in the Humor Research series

All Regular
Members who renew on or before January 31 for the current membership
year, may renew for $84, regardless of whether they live within
or outside of the United States. After Janaury 31, the fee increases
to $89. Students, who provide proof of student status (e.g.,
a copy of an ID card), receive a $10 discount on membership.

New
ISHS members, who join the Society for the first time in 2008,
may join at the discounted Janaury rate.
Humor
scholars who wish to be a part of the ISHS network, but cannot
afford full dues may join the Society as an Associate member.
Associate members pay only $30 and receive our newsletter, membership
directories, bibliography access, and ISHS Conference discounts,
but do not receive the Society's journal. |

for 2008 ISHS Membership and subscriptions to HUMOR,
Volume 21, can be downloaded via the links below. Both MS
Word and PDF versions are available. The MS Word form can
be filled in online, saved to your computer, and e-mailed
to ISHS.
