| Test
Catalog
Over
the past century, social and behavioral scientists have constructed
questionnaires, surveys, tests, and other measures to assess humor
appreciation and creation as well as humor-related behavior. Historically,
these tests have varied in quality although, in recent years, they
have become more rigorous in their development and application.
Enter here for the ISHS test catalog. For each test, you will find
information on authorship and test design along with references
to key articles involving the measure. For several tests, you will
find online links to the actual research tool, and in some cases,
manual pages that can be downloaded. ISHS does not endorse
any particular test, and investigators should determine whether
a test is appropriate for their own scholarly research. |

| Online
Classroom
Holy
Names University is currently invetigating an online class for ISHS
that would allow advanced researchers and students to interact and
exchange ideas in a virtual classroom setting. As part of the online
classroom, students would have access to HNU's electronic library
collection, including library search tools and the full text of
selected journals, including HUMOR: International Journal of Humor
Research. Other universities and colleges offer online classes that
may be of interest to students of humor, and you may choose to enroll
in one of these courses. |
