“Thank you for taking the time to be part of the official unveiling of the new Holy Names University logo,” President William J. Hynes said. “The launching of a new logo is an important event in the life of a university. I am excited by the impact that a consistent message, image, and marketing concept can make on our visibility.”
The purpose of developing the new logo was to raise visibility, strengthen HNU’s position in the higher education marketplace, and to provide a unified look and feel to University publications, Hynes said.
Sister Carol Sellman also spoke on how the “Change Up” concept reinforces the message of transformation that is often used to describe the HNU educational experience. Vice President for University Advancement Richard Ortega encouraged attendees to review the Editorial Style Guide, Graphics Style Guide, and other materials that have been prepared by the Office of Marketing and Public Relations to help create consistency in HNU communications.
