Speakers include:

Oakland Mayor Jean Quan: Oakland’s first female AND Asian American Mayor. Prior to becoming mayor, Jean served on the Oakland School Board and Oakland City Council.

Cheryl Cohen-Greene: Cheryl is a Doctor of Human Sexuality and an author. The movie “The Sessions” starring Helen Hunt was based on Cheryl’s life.

Monica Tell: Monica is the Senior Project Manager for PG&E’s Low-Income Energy Efficiency Program, serves on the board of Girls Inc. of Alameda County and is Vice-Chair of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Annie Flores: Annie is the President of the National Women’s Political Caucus in Washington and a Family Resource Specialist at Lincoln Child Center in Oakland.

Susan Rancourt: Susan is a Business Developer, professional jazz vocalist and breast cancer survivor who’s mission is helping others survive and thrive!

Elizabeth Stage: Elizabeth is the Director of the Lawrence Hall of Science and the Founder of the Coalition for Science After School. She was named by Nancy Skinner as one of 2014’s Women of the Year.

Samara Azam: Samara is the Executive Director for ACCESS in Oakland and a passionate advocate for reproductive justice and an MBA candidate with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Socially Responsible Business.
