Bodhi Day

Buddhist celebration of the day when prince Gautama took his place under a Bodhi tree and vowed not to move until he reached supreme enlightenment. Here he was tempted to partake in worldly pleasures but found the root of the nature of suffering and began the movement of the Dharma wheel of enlightenment.
