For the last 36 years, Stephanie Taymuree ‘75 has provided specialized services to students in the Oakland Unified School District as a speech pathologist. She says her greatest accomplishment becomes evident when a child, who enters the program with absolutely no way of communicating, learns how to express themselves and blossoms as a result. She has dedicated her career to providing children with the tools they need to show the world who they are and participate in the fullness of life.
Stephanie Taymuree was selected as Alameda County Teacher of the Year for 2017.
